With offense intact, Broncos set to open mini-camp today
This is what quarterback Jake Plummer signed up for, or at least as close as he has gotten since he joined the Denver Broncos in the off-season.
When the club opens a six-day mini-camp today, the team's offense will enjoy the full complement of star power Plummer so far has witnessed fully only in ESPN highlights.
Tight end Shannon Sharpe is expected back for an unofficial start to his 14th NFL season, having worked out on his own in Atlanta in the off-season. He was excused from the Broncos' May mini-camp. Reporters everywhere already are making sure there's a fresh set of batteries at the ready for his arrival....
