With the impending lockout, I'm wondering if the fact that there will be a 2010 season, 2011 will most likely be cancelled due to a lockout (or scabs will play), and then in 2012, the NFL will return full force. But the problem with 2012, that's the last year for our stadium lease in Orchard Park and it's also the last year of the Toronto experiment. So now the team would be left without a home if something isn't done soon for 2013. Could these head coaching candidates be looking at that too? I'm guessing Cowher or someone like him would want a 5 year deal, but the team doesn't even have a 5-year deal, so it would be a tough sell to the new Head Coach, unless they negotiate some kind of escape clause if the team's future isn't decided by then.
2012!

Re: 2012!
if Ralph doesn't croak or sell the team by 2012, there is no way in hell the county will pin the team without a home. They'll come up with some sort of lease agreement.
now, if Ralph croaks or sells the team by then, the Bills are as good as gone.

You do know that this makes absolutely no sense...if there is an impending lockout how can there be a 2010 season (which you said was a FACT)? Why would 2011 be locked out even if 2010 is? Who has ever mentioned using scabs? And if they lost two seasons due to a lockout what makes you think there would be a 2012 season and that they would be back in full force? What were you smoking?

and that is beside the point...I said your post doesn't make sense...reread your post.

Re: 2012!
I guessed that maybe scabs will play. I stand by the rest. The 2010 season will happen, it will just be an uncapped year. As for 2011, apparently the Owners have already talked about how the CBA expires after the 2010 season, they will most likely lock out the players. It's been all over the internet in many different spots. I read it this morning in the NY Post too.
As for 2012...that's my prediction. It will come back in full force. Unless the lockout chases fans away, but I can't see that. It's too popular.Last edited by Michael82; 01-17-2010, 04:59 PM.
