All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

he fits what Nix was looking for, an offensive coach, HC experience, out of work and hard up for a job, wasn't going to say no. I did hear that it was Cowher who recommended him to Russ and Nix.
At the PC, the media better not let them spin. They better batter them with questions about why every single candidate wasn't interested -- do not take anything less than a real answer. When they get the spin answer, ask again in a different way.
I'm a Yankee fan. George Steinbrenner knew when to walk away and hand over control of his team. Ralph is going to go out kicking and screaming though.
but, to answer your question, they'll say that Chan meets every requirement they had when they set out to find a coach. They'll also say that he was excited to come to Buffalo and turn this franchise around.
Chan Gailey is a good coaches name like Marv Levy.
In the end, there are only three liberal archetypes: The fools, the beneficiaries and the crooks.

"Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, to assure the survival and the success of liberty. - John F. Kennedy, January 20, 1961
To live in the presence of great truths and eternal laws,
to be led by permanent ideals -
that is what keeps a man patient
when the world ignores him,
and calm and unspoiled when the world praises him. -- Honore De Balzac
* Gailey's first job in the NFL as an offensive coordinator came in 1989-1990 with the Denver Broncos. Denver made the Superbowl in both of those years.
* From 1994-97, Gailey worked with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was an offensive aide through those seasons, all of which the Steelers won their division. He was the offensive coordinator there from 1996-1997.
* After coaching the Cowboys, he took the job as offensive coordinator for the Miami Dolphins from 2000-2001. Miami went 11-5 in both of those seasons.
The guy does have plenty of experience, and hopefully will be able to put together a solid coaching staff. The dude probably knows everyone that's been associated with the NFL for the past 40 years.
