    $ for THE CHAN

    ya think THE CHAN will command top dollar like the first tier guys do?

    gee ya think that had anything to do with the decision?

    I think that the fact he didnt turn us down was a very large factor.
    True fans want wins, not draft picks.

      I would guess around $2-3 million per season

          Jauron made 3 million with his extension. Do you really think they'll pay more for Gailey?

          The only coordinator I know that makes that money is Jason Garrett.

            I think Chan will make about what Dick made, maybe a little more seeing he's had more success in this league.

            I'll say 3-3.5 million per year.

              $3.5 mill sounds about right. He has more experience than Jauron did and has a respectable record. 64-40 at the college level, 18-16 in the pros.

              Took a 6-10 team and in one year coached them to a 10-6 record.

              He can command a little more money.

                  And just a thought... Do you think Ralph will be inclined to spend the $6.5M per year savings from Cowher? It'd be nice to have a top-notch staff of coordinators and trainers.

                  Ralph has to be sick of paying 20 players per year to sit on IR.

                    If he does want to spend the money I hope it is on top notch coordinators.
