C'mon man, we aren't stupid. We know that you guys met with Bill Cowher, you don't need to act like it didn't happen. You also don't need to act like 10,000 people were banging down the door for the job... they weren't. How pathetic. I'd rather have him not even try to explain this stuff and get on with introducing Gailey. Bills nation and the rest of the NFL know what has happened. Nix is just furthering the reputation of the Bills as a laughingstock.

They prob did have all those calls. Im sure every team does when they have an opening. I imagine the biggest names that called were Billick, Edwards then a bunch of young guys from college.

TBH, I'm not so sure that Nix cba to lie.
He certainly doesn't take any prisoners.
While Ralph obviously 'rubber stamped' the hire, I think it's pretty fair to say that Gailey is Nix's guy.
Note also, assuming someone is lying, based off of sports media reports, isn't going to stand up too well to serious scrutiny.
