Thurman did a lot of talking. He is also the only thing remotely (very remotely) connected to the organization to have any thing to do with WGR. They take his word as gospel.

Truth is...Thurman has very loose lips. I will always respect him for his accomplishments, but his being a "source" has really shown it's worth. If you put weight in his statements, that is your fault.

Kelly on the other hand, was very tight lipped, and gave the PC answer when he was kind of cornered last week. Kelly is truly tied into the organization, but has no real decision making ability, I would guess. I would bet that Ralph values his opinion, but what is that worth?

In addition, and in fairness, Thurman backed off considerably as of late. He also is fairly supportive of Chan, having played for him in Miami. This organization is not in the best shape, granted, but i think that a complete CF in the area of football operations was a bigger issue than most thought. Nix/Gaily have both been successful, and are willing to be no-nonsense leaders on this club.... I like the prospect.
