Brohm for now, but I reserve the right to change it based on FA and Draft.

I have a feeling we are in for another year of JP/Holcomb, JP/Trent, Trent/Fitz. Not really sure who's gonna start. If we do not draft, I say give Brohm the start.

I think Brohm needs a year as a #2 before he's ready. That's why I'd love to see a vet that was worth a crap brought in, but the cupboards are pretty bare in FA. I really have no clue who will be under center for the opener at this point... not a clue.

Edwards and a high draft pick on a franchise QB.

Edwards and a high draft pick on a franchise QB.

Or a 2nd/3rd round on a future bust like Darryl Clark/Tim Tebow. It's just the way the Bills are.

Clark is not a 2nd/3rd round pick. stick your foot back in your mouth and STFU.

I'd love to say Donovan McNabb, but i'd be setting myself up for heartbreak once again, so I'll go w/ others on the notion that Ralph wont spend the money, and our 2010 qb will be either Trent, or Fitzie.:refuse: :refuse:

Ralph wilson. he has experience, he comes cheap, he's injury prone and he can't throw over 10 yards. he is the QB we'd love to see develop over 5 years.

This article has me thinking we might be looking at the same stable of QBs in 2010...

First and foremost Gailey’s offenses have been most successful in scoring points. Even when he was not blessed with great offensive talent at quarterback or running back the Bills new coach found ways to keep putting points on the board.
Only once has a Gailey-run offense ranked lower than 16th in the league. The other eight seasons featured four top-10 points per game rankings, two years in which they ranked 11th and a pair of season where the finished 16th.
In the two years he called plays for Miami’s offense in 2000 and 2001, Gailey had Jay Fiedler as his quarterback and Lamar Smith as his featured tailback. Both years the Dolphins went 11-5 and finished 16th and 8th in the league in points scored.

This also seems to rule out a McNabb trade.

It's gonna be Vick

After all the evidence that existed before (Buffalo going after Vick in August, Dungy claiming Vick a good fit in Buffalo in October)

And now hearing CG's 1 on 1 he said that he won't run the triple option but that they will run some option.

Who is the QB best suited to run the option for you that will be available in March and can put points on the board without the added delay of developing a QB right away???

Mike Vick.

O and who has the arm that can cut through Buffalo winds as Buddy stated??

Also Mike Vick.

I hope its not Trent, he lacks leadership which we need in a QB and according to him, he is not a Bills fan, he just plays for the Bills

Edwards...he is going to beat the rest of the guys out in competition. I do think they go out and get one in free agency though

I'm not his biggest fan, but if that isn't taking his quote out of context, then I don't know what is...

If they get Vick, which I strongly believe they will, there is no way that Edwards beats him for the job unless Vick gets hurt.

Did you really quote the Jay Fiedler lead Dolphins as to what expect for the Bills? Ouch.

Right now I'll say Fitz. But if Trent can somehow get his head straight during the offseason, I think he could win the competition and be the guy heading into season.

Compared to Edwards he's the fourth (black) Manning brother.

I have thought for a while that Brohm is likely to end up starting, but it's not going to be automatic. I think there's going to be a real competition in training camp. With a new regime in place, Trent has a chance to turn his ship around, but he's going to have to change a lot before he can grab the reins again.

NOT THE DUDE...

pennington or vick, fitz will be the back up and edwards will be traded, brohm will be 3rd stringer...

Edwards took too many hits and is now bailing early, not progressing through his reads at all. He's playing scared and useless to this roster.

Brohm has a shot and Fitz is strickly a backup and future coach. They need to add someone in FA. Too many needs at OT, DL and LB in this Draft.

he was asked if we had the right to BOO the team cause they sucked. He said he could not answer that because he is not a fan, he works for the Bills.

For someone so smart he couldn't have thought of a better way to say that? That dude is not a leader and you need a leader at QB

People who bash him for that answer are just looking for things to bash.
Of all the things to bash him for, and there are plenty, this is just baby whining. His answer was perfectly reasonable except for fanboy geeks.

Pennington can't throw the ball period, let alone in the winds of the Ralph. Vick never threw with any accuracy, and now his legs are going. Fitz is pathetic.

Brohm is the only one you mentioned who has a chance.

In a way, yeah. Point being that Gailey has proven he can succeed with lesser talent. Given the reality of the situation financially, it wouldn't be a shock tos ee the same three QBs here in 2010.

He keeps the ball nice and high, but a little too far away from his body. Maybe he'll re-hire AVP to help him with his mechanics.
