I just had this thought earlier today...he and Ralph have known each other for a long time, maybe he was waiting for the Bills to hire someone to make a move? I'm not saying it's the most likely reason, but I certainly thought that Cable would have been gone a week or so ago! Any thoughts?
Is Al Davis waiting to fire Cable out of respect for Ralph?

Al Davis interviewed possible replacements already... all in "stealth" mode.... lol theres that word again. But Jason La Canfora is saying they are leaning towards keeping Cable....(link) http://blogs.nfl.com/2010/01/20/raid...uture-unclear/
Their list apparently is Fassel, Trestmen, Harbough (who rejected them as well) and Gilbride.Impossible is Nothing.

I think that Al Davis knows that no one wanted the Bills job because of the crazy owner, and no one would want his job even more. He'd probably be better off keeping Cable for one more season.Last edited by Michael82; 01-21-2010, 12:26 AM.

I don't believe that Ralph Wilson or Al Davis even remember who the other is, at this point.Originally posted by LOSman WINSVanek is Austrian not EuropeanOriginally posted by Prov401Pacquiao isn't asian. “You hold a players only meeting and get each guy to stand up and say what he can bring to the table... and if he doesn't, you punch him in the face.” ~~ Harry Neale, on how to fix the Sabres season.
