How do we fix the OLine?

Everyone seems to agree that we need to fix the OL. Besides the obvious need at LT what other position needs to be addressed in your opinion and can it be fixed with what we currently have or do you feel we need to go elsewhere (free agency/draft)?

    LT is a major

    DT is a must

    DE is a must

    OLB is a must

MLB if we switch to the 3-4

Get a LT. That pretty much solves it.

NEW LT - LEVITRE - HANGARTNER - WOOD - BUTLER

That line would be solid. I would also keep Incognito for depth or to possibly start the season for Wood and sign a decent backup to compete with Bell for the swing OT spot.

The easiest answer to the question is just keep everyone healthy. Most of the problems had to do with the constant shuffling of the line.

I am in agreement here. That line above has the possibility to be decent.

We would have decent depth with Bell,Incognito, Meredith, and Scott as well.

i think they continue through the draft to build the OL. there are plenty of decent LT's in this upcoming draft. use that 1st rounder to shore it up. i don't know that status of Wood but having Incognito makes me feel better if we keep him. i think Meredith will improve as time goes on as well. slowly but surely, the Bills are improving the OL as compared to the last couple of years.

I agree with alot of what you guys have said.

If we can land a good Young LT our OL will be solid.
We have some great depth behind them too.
              Injuries just killed this team.

After that DEFENSE draft, draft, and draft some more....
I think the Bills will trade out of the #9 spot and be in the 20 range and pick up more picks and land a guy like DT CODY, our a OT....

Get a new LT, build depth. I think if they took an LT in the first round, then grabbed another OT in the 3rd or 4th round to be the swing tackle, we'd be good. We always have too many injuries to be able to ignore depth.

i think the depth is better than it has been in the last couple of years. it wouldn't hurt to add more though.

Not a horrible idea but I think we would have depth with Butler starting and Meredith, Scott, and Bell as backups. How many more do we need?

Re: How do we fix the OLine?

With a solid LT, I could see this line being pretty good next year, and dominant in a few years.

Oh yeah, and we need Gailey to get these guys in REAL football shape! For me, I think that was one of the biggest issues last year. I don't feel as though our o-line was in good enough shape; hence the constant tweaking and pulling of muscles!

I think a solid lt in fa or the draft would put us over the top. also draft some backups inside...

Levitre is not a OT. Too short with short arms, he can be a fill in as an emergency but not as a starter. And Butler is way too tall and slim to be a G. He struggled at OG last year against shorter, stouter DL players.

Also, Hangartner looked good when the OL was healthy.
