Money aside, I think he'd be a great backup. Life of the party too!

Everything aside, I think he'd be a great starter in case Drew launches 8 INTs in our first 3 games!

OhioFinFan is prolly Tom Donahoe.

He is starting ***** so that Miami forks over more cash than they want to or even can. Basically he is uping the ante and hoping they pay through the nose for him.

Of course! And if we're 1-3 or 2-2, then you may...

My point was that stats are stats...We enjoyed 8 years of incredible stats from the K-Gun offense, I loved those days, but we never won a championship...

dolphins fans are so bi-polar...far worse than this board was with sam adams this offseason....

Hmmm, this is VERY interesting. I was wondering IF TD would get in the Griese sweepstakes. If this happens...AVP and his 1 million dollars a year is GONE! I'll miss the pill! :sadwalk:

:D

Please stop it...cutting Van Pelt will not save $1M...

He makes $750K...cutting him moves the 52nd player into 51...that guy makes $300K...thus saving $450K on that cap...

Well thats what the Dalphins get for offering a dumbass contract. I mean are you kidding me.... Cindrich said Griese could make a maximum of $1.63 million only if he played 59 percent of the snaps and the team won the Super Bowl, and can make no more than $1.03 million if the team doesn't win its first league championship since the 1973 season.

"That's not going to get it done," Cindrich said Wednesday

Im all for having Griese on the team.

If its true TD might have done it again

I don't particularly want him, but if TD gets him, it will be at a price the Bills can live with. TD makes reasonable offers, then stands firm.

Griese is obviously superior to AVP and TB. Its simply a matter of price.

If the $ is right then i'll take him on our team...

Sorry, i would prefer AVP over Griese.

Just doesn't seem logical. This is not a position we need to improve. However, this is certainly good talking fodder.
