Vick is not the answer. He's just like Bledsoe or JP- he'll give you a spectacular big play from time to time, but in between big plays he's mediocre at best and a liability at worst.

Because the nfl's official policy is "no steroids," not "steroids are ok as long as you stay small.". If Vick gets busted, it means the league will be forced to suspend him. I don't think the guy is the answer anyway, but it's an irrelevant point if he's suspended and unavailable to play.

I'd rather take a one or two season stab with someone like McNabb instead of investing a ton of money in Vick. Never liked him as a QB anyway, regardless of his off the field issues.

I understand what you are saying. The problem with that, is that 1 strike, and he will be out (and we wouldn't have any say in the matter, the League would do it). It isn't worth the risk, regardless of anything else, because Vick is (was) a player you design an offence around. You don't just plug him in. One strike, and you have to design another whole offence, for a 'regular' QB.
