I have hockey 10:30-midnight in North Buffalo... I'm going to have to DVR the game for when I get home (Vancouver is my 2nd team, my Western team - I'm NOT missing it). I probably won't get to bed til like 2am LOL

I don't feel bad, although I'm extremely jealous that most other games are on at 4 for you. I would LOVE to live on the West Coast solely for early sporting events.

Not me. I like to go to the gym after work, eat some dinner, then I'm ready for some hockey.

I like working out after work too, but I would also like to watch the games at like 4 and still have my evening free for other things.

Plus having the Bills games on at 10am would be fantastic.

4pm starts would be the end of me.. No more gym - I'd be at Happy Hour everyday LOL

Plus the Sabres games don't interfer with Prime Time TV so I don't take up the DVR at that time. That would start fights in my house. Games are over by 6:30- 7...Plenty of time to workout after that.

Tallinder and Myers were gassed on that goal from what they were doing on the offensive end.

Is it just me, or are these guys falling down too much?

Kennedy offers no offense whatsoever.

typical Kerry Fraser anti-Buffalo goal...the guy has been a POS ref since he entered the league...good bye.

I am not one to complain about officials, but Fraser is, and always has been, terrible.

Fraser is and always will be a joke. He acts like he is bigger then the NHL. I will not miss him at all.

more proof of biased refs: in the 3rd period and Vancouver has more 5-on-3 time than Buffalo has 5-on-4 time.

Fortunately the Sabres S/T is kicking ass right now.

and now Myers is hurt on a cheap shot by Baumgartner and now they score. Sabres can't win Frasier won't let them win.

I can't even be mad about this game.

They got robbed of the goal, then given a crap penalty on top of it, and the Canucks third goal was just damn amazing.

DMBcrew36
01-26-2010, 08:16 AM
That no goal, plus penalty, was extreme BS. The game could've turned out much differently if Frasier hadn't hosed us.

Vancouver, however, is probably the best team in the league right now. They're so fun to watch.

Last night did prove to me that Buffalo absolutely needs a top scorer if they want to actually make a run in the playoffs.

I'm all for balanced scoring and what not, but every good team has one consistently good top scorer on the team.

In the case of Vancouver, the Sedins fill that role. I can only think of maybe one Sabres player that is capable of making the plays they did, and it's a huge maybe.
