All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Even though a total of 14 more players, including seven for the AFC are being added to the Pro Bowl rosters, to replace the Colts and Saints players that are exempt because they’ll be playing in the Super Bowl, Aaron Schobel is still not going as a defensive end.
The biggest thing we learned from the Bills is that they are a resilient bunch and did what they had to do to win instead of past years where they fold like a cheap lawn chair.

I think the fact that the AFC QBs include Vince Young and David Garrard tells me all I need to know about this game. I haven't watched more than 5 minutes of a Pro Bowl game in about a decade.

Time to just end the Pro-Bowl. Football is a sport that just doesn't lend itself to an all-star game - espeically when the stars of the game stay home or have to play in the SB the following week.
For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.

good point. Schobel is a loner that seems to kindof keep to himself, and doesnt seem to make many friends around the league, so it seems unlikely that unless he has a huge year like he had in the past, that he'd get added to the roster.
The pro bowl is garbage. Nobody wants to play in it and nobody wants to watch it.
They should just eliminate the game and have the best players competing against each other in skills competitions. Make all the players do the same events so the fat linemen would have to race against each other like the speedy guys do.
Just turn it into a series of entertaining, non contact, skills games and a lot more players would go and more people would be interested in it.

I don't think I've watched that much!

That would certainly be more entertaining and intresting!
