Rookie Year Stats

Ricky=12 gp, 12 gs, 253 carries, 884 yds, 3.5 ypc, 25L, 2 td's, 28 rec, 172 yds, 6.1 avg

Henry=13 gp, 12 gs, 213 carries, 729 yds, 3.4 ypc, 25L, 4 td's, 22 rec, 179 yds, 8.1 avg

Williams had the much better Offense, yet Henry was equal to him running. And was a better receiver.:badboy:

interesting comparison. I like the way that looks :)

It's too early to tell how the two will compare. But travis' stats don't impres me as much as the way he ran. He was a pretty mature runner for a rookie, not afraid to take a hot either. I can't wait to see him with the new line

I like his spinning abilities. He can get a yard or 2 after the hit, and that was the impression I was left from last season.

With our beefed up line, he could be a Pro Bowl back.

i don't know ricky's 2nd year numbers but i'm predicting that travis will get 1200+yards rushing and 400+yards receiving.a little more involvement with the passing game is needed to make him a more dangerous RB.

The numbers are very close. awesome analogy on the two.
Yet another glimmer of hope of a running game this year.. I'll take it!

Comparing Ricky Williams to Travis Henry is like apples and oranges.

Ricky Williams was expected to do great in his first year. He has not lived up to his expectations.

Travis Henry was a quiet pick up, if I remember correctly, and (IMO) surprised a lot of naysayers. He will have a great season, and/or career.

Great stat comparison! Hopefully the trend will not continue. Ricky only played in 10 games the following season becasue of a nagging injury.
