            Williams would still have been fired after 3 years, because Brees didn't develop until his 4th.

              Everyone remember how bad Brees was for a certain period of time in SD?? Trust me, Williams would've lost his job either way.

                Just more evidence that the organization sucks ass and everyone in the league knows it. Williams is basically saying we wouldn't have went anywhere and aren't going anywhere.

                      Uh-oh...we don't give QB's time to develop around here...especially when the coaches seat is heating up. We throw them in and destroy them mentally, and physically, then after a year or two send them packing. Brees ends up JP? Trent? I don't know for sure, but it wouldn't have been the great story it is now.
