All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Yeah, it's the torch - pretty obvious to anyone who has been paying attention to the upcoming Olympics. I remember when Canada unveiled the torch design a year ago or so, and everyone was remarking that it looked like a huge marijuana joint.
And I'd say it looks pretty good. I'd like to see anyone on here paint a better mask.
“You hold a players only meeting and get each guy to stand up and say what he can bring to the table... and if he doesn't, you punch him in the face.” ~~ Harry Neale, on how to fix the Sabres season.
Well it may be a torch but it doesn't look like anything in the spirit of the Olympics, it looks like a stick lit on fire that Uncle Sam is going to beat someone with.
the Olympic torch looks more like this, which is why I still don't quite see it.

Still looks like a stick that Uncle Sam is going to use to beat someone to a pulp, it looks nothing like he's about to light the Olympic flame.
I don't hate the design, I just question the so called torch and religous addition of a cross.... I personally don't want anything religous involved in the Olympics, politics, or anything for that matter... and that cross definitley is not the "Olympic Dude" on the actual torch... that is very obvious, and for me upsetting especially if it was intended to be a religous symbol
