Reports out of Dallas say Cowboys assistant linebackers coach Dat Nguyen is leaving Wade Phillips' staff. Nguyen played under Bills coach Chan Gailey when Gailey was head coach of the Cowboys in 1999. He has been on the Cowboys' staff since 2007. He had a good relationship with Gailey, and is a prospect to join the Bills' defensive staff.

Dat Nguyen! I used to like him just because he was the only Vietnamese-American to play in the league, and I thought that was neat

Man this would be a great pick-up as a the ILB coach. Wonder if he could be the DC though?

Looks like Ralph may finally loosen the strings on his purse for coaches. So I guess we are going to have an ILB coach, an OLB coach, a CB coach, a Safety coach, a DT coach, and DE coach on the defensive side alone. All is missing is a guy to coordinate them all.

He doesn't seem qualified to be a DC based on his experience.

Loved Dat as a player and prospect coming out of Texas A&M. Don't know much about him as a coach, but I love his fire and intensity.

It looks like the Bills want to make the transition as easy as possible for the team. Grabbing coaches like Giff and Nguyen makes sense in that regard.

Dat was an animal on the feild hope if he comes he can show some of our players how to play like that
