Peter Giunta, Defensive Backs Coach of the Giants.
It was a coin toss between him and Sheridan when it came to replace Spagunolo and now they have appointed Fewell.
Giunta was the DC when the Rams won the Super Bowl in 2000.
Though he primarily ran a 4-3 defence, he was afraid to give the 3-4 a look where appropriate to confuse opposing teams.
I think considering the mishmash of players we have we would be well advised to take a DC prepared to use whatever defence will get the best from the players rather than try to take a square peg and try to bash it into a round hole, using players ill-suited to one formation or another.
