Kane says it's time to grow up ... again

The infamous Patrick Kane photos in the Vancouver limo have been on the Internet for a couple of days and lots of blogs have talked about them but there was some concern about some photoshopping so we have not. But once the Blackhawks addressed them yesterday in San Jose and their beat writers got comment from the players involved, the story has gone mainstream.

All Kane is doing is acting like every other 20 year old in the country. There are a lot of pictures of me and my friends doing stupid **** when we were 20- the only difference is no one cared because we weren't athletes.

Also, we were broke so they weren't in a limo, and usually there weren't a lot of girls around... but I digress.

The point is that because he can play hockey, people expect him not to act like a normal 20 year old. That's ridiculous. The taxi driver thing was over the top and he deserved the criticism on that one, but this is just him acting his age.

I guess I should clarify. There isn't an issue with partying. Hell, I'm 25 and still do really stupid things. I was just a little disturbed by the apparent fully body wax that Kane had.

Actually...depending on where the pics were taken that might not be true and the age of the girls....so long as everyone is over 19 its fine...if not, there's trouble

who cares what the girls look like. That is the shallowest of attitudes....


Give me a women who has a brain and is fun to be around over one that is nothing but a empty head using her looks to get what she wants... To me that's a huge turn off.


I guess that is what this is all really about, some un-met perception of what a star athlete is supposed to be in the eyes of some.
