    Here is some info....I think this could happen. I'm not guaranteeing it, but this is what my guy said. GEORGE CORTEZ

    He also said he isn't hearing anything on DC.

                  I don't know if I am a fan of the hiring. His track record seems alright, but will that transition to success south of the Canadian border?

                  EDIT:

                  Good success at Cal gave me more hope.

                  I hope he works out. We need to develop a young QB. Most likely a high rounder next season.

                    Interesting hire, frankly I'm just glad Chan reaching out side his comfort level for coaches. Makes me excited to see who the DC.

                      The game is different to be sure, but I wouldn't think technique is going to be all that different. The canadian game forces teams to pass more with just three downs to the NFL's four. Otherwise, it's just a matter of reading defenses, throwing with good mechanics and making smart decisions. I wouldn't think the transition will be so tough.

                        Jeez...from the looks of his CFL resume he'd have been a better pick for 'figure-head' OC than Modkins. Maybe Gailey will follow Arizona's system and have running/passing game coordinators?
