Tackle in FA and get Bradford?

If the bills could get a starting caliber LT in free agency and the Bills and other teams do their due diligence with Bradford, would you take him at 9 if he falls, or trade up a few spots if needed?

Definitely wouldn't trade, and in all honesty would rather wait on drafting one 'high' until next year, unless somebody drops into the third.

Work on the lines first, and see if you can fish a QB out of FA this season for a bandaid.

I see this as a real possibility.

It may not be McNeil though.

I like the idea of getting a tackle and not drafting one. We already have enough youth on the line

I doubt we get a LT via free agency, but if we did, I would be very happy to get either Bradford or Claussen. IMO, I like Claussen a bit more than Bradford for several reasons. I don't see Bradford being there at 9, but Claussen could be there. Either way, I'm not for drafting either of these guys if it means we have to move up to get them.

Getting a starting tackle via free agency is the best thing we can do. I just do not see it happening. Who is out there that will be available to us?

I just do not want to see Edwards back in there....what a mistake that would be.

Final year of his contract, has regressed, and I really do not think he is a strong leader.

I agree with fixing the line first, but once we get the line fixed, we still have the same problem at QB.

with teams having 2 tags this year, and FA's needing 6 years to be a UFA, I GUARENTEE there will be no starting LT's available in FA worth pursuing

Exactly who in free agency were you thinking of, based on the fact that is extremely unlikely that any team would make a starting LT available?

What about Jermon Bushrod? doing a nice job in New Orleans.. They will have Jamaal Brown back next year so its an ever so increasing possibility he won't be their as he has realized he is capable of starting as a LT in the NFL. He would be an idiot not to leave in FA and I think the FO needs to bring him in.

I want Bradford. But he won't be there.
"'Clean up your room.', 'Stand up straight.', 'Pick up your feet.', 'Take it like a man.', 'Be nice to your sister.', 'Don't mix beer and wine, ever.'. Oh yeah, 'Don't drive on the railroad track.'"

Unfortunately Bushrod is only an RFA at the end of the season and I would be shocked if they don't give him a Round1 tender as LTs do not grow on trees these days.

I see Bushrod moving on but maybe to a team like the Cowboys drafting low in R1.

Do the 'Boys have a first round pick after the Roy Williams trade?

Yes, their 1st rounder went to Detroit last year and they used it to draft Pettigrew
