There’s only one reason why someone standing 6-feet-8 before he puts skates on jumps into the play as often and as effectively as Myers does, and that’s because he’s confident in his abilities to be a difference-maker and not afraid to make a play. Myers is Chris Pronger (http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/players/639/;_ylt=Ao4hmmm1wlMd3HPMZURHa1hm7Yx4)(notes) (http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/players/639/news;_ylt=AlD5mzWotqMFvsgYYgDZNhhm7Yx4) with more skill or Scott Niedermayer (http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/players/607/;_ylt=AqH5gIGlzPaejU34915IMppm7Yx4)(notes) (http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/players/607/news;_ylt=Av0DV4HJGcVpyKMP_oK6geFm7Yx4) with more size

Nice to have a player who hasn't even come close to peaking yet and yet turning heads everywhere.

looks like the guy is going to recieve his share of the hardware

It's always a good sign when I see his name in the box score a couple of times per week. Guy sure is accumulating those points.
