    The most unique rookie since Ovechkin, putting too much stock in Kovalchuk and no sympathy for Detroit.



    There’s only one reason why someone standing 6-feet-8 before he puts skates on jumps into the play as often and as effectively as Myers does, and that’s because he’s confident in his abilities to be a difference-maker and not afraid to make a play. Myers is Chris Pronger(notes) with more skill or Scott Niedermayer(notes) with more size


    Nice to have a player who hasn't even come close to peaking yet and yet turning heads everywhere.

    looks like the guy is going to recieve his share of the hardware

    It's always a good sign when I see his name in the box score a couple of times per week. Guy sure is accumulating those points.
