He's struggled at times over the last couple of years.

Cross your fingers that Charlie Johnson is available in some way, shape, or form.

And that's the worry .... we might be daft enough to draft Clausen.

Bradford might be just about palatable, but Clausen is way over rated

        Re: MATT LIGHT

Why would the Pats trade their starting LT, especially considering his salary is affordable ($4.5M), for a 4th round pick?

I think the Pats really like their tackles. Matt Light at LT, Vollmer at RT. Kaczur can move to guard (Stephen Neal is a FA, and is talking retirement after battling injuries the last few years) and Mark Levoir is the swing tackle. I don't think they want to create holes, considering they have others to fill.

It's the time of year where chat room GM's excel. The why don't we trade for "______" are some of my favorites. They rank right up there with "we should trade down". Great ideas in theory, unfortunately, you have to have willing partners.

There not only willing to trade him, they could end up cutting cause of Vollmer. You should no more than any of us how the Pansy's roll.

Is there any substance to this? Do the Pats want to trade Light?

Maybe the Pats can package Brady, Moss and Light for our 1st round pick!

Vollmer is their new starting rt, they have no room for light. they need to resign mankins and wilfork.... so they will be looking to trade light...

You got it backwards, it's Bradford who has the most concerns with being fragile and previous injuries, plus at least Clausen played in a pro offense.

If the Pats want to trade with you, they are coming out on top. Just don't ask Al Davis.
