This kid was smashed after a Bills game and hit 7 people before crashing into a light pole. Is his sentence this harsh becuase 4 of the people he hit were cops? Probably.

A 19-year-old man who injured several people outside of a Buffalo Bills game in October while driving drunk and impaired by drugs was sentenced Tuesday to nine years in prison.

Brandon McLean was charged for a series of hit-and-runs October 11 after he sped out of a parking lot at the Ralph Wilson Stadium.

McLean injured three pedestrians and four law enforcement officers before crashing his car into a telephone pole.

good...what a total idiot. i don't even totally understand the appeal of getting totally bombed at the game, but you have to have the common sense to not get into the drivers side seat and drive.

7 people hav ebeen effected for life because of his actions. This guy should be put up on the jumbrotron every game with his sentence and then stamped out with a patriots logo so that every one sees at each game and realizes that the law will put you away for 9 years and buffalo bill fans will always remember you as a patriot bandwagoner. that's justice.

Why? From what i heard, the story goes like this-

He was selling drugs out of his truck before the game while tailgating. He went inside the stadium and the cops had a lead on him selling drugs. Cops didn't know where he parked so they followed him after the game and he booked. Got into his truck and drove off like a madman.

This isn't one of those times where you go, get hammered with your 3 good friends who you havn't seen in months and make a poor decision to get behind the wheel.

The kid can rot for all i care.

If the guy had stopped and got out of the vehicle after he hit the first person, then maybe 9 years is harsh. As he didn't, and continued to attempt to get away from the police, it is in no way, shape or form, long enough.
I've always felt that being in the way of a moving vehicle, was a highly dangerous occupation, and I wouldn't want it forced on me by some complete moron.
