A regulation game is worth 2 points. An OT/SO game is worth 3- 2 to the winner, one to the loser. Allowing games to go to OT creates extra points in the standings, like the game against NJ a few nights ago. I wrote that statement when the Sabres had a ****ty PP while the game was still tied (just like against NJ a few nights ago).Originally posted by helmetguy
