“Coach Edwards is one of the best assistants in the NFL,” said former Gator and current Miami Dolphin Channing Crowder. “He has had a huge impact on me and I looked up to him like a father.”

I know we hate the Dolphins, but that quote right there says a lot.

We took T.O., didn't we? Why not rent the guy for a year. I read somewhere Jason Taylor may be available also, might get cut? Would be good for Maybin.

Taylor looked good last year for Miami but he looked washed up in Washington the year before so I don't know about him. Porter will be cut if the Fins can't trade him. They would only trade him to the Bills as a last resort.

Taylor was played out of position in Washington, as a strongside 4-3 DE. He bulked up this year and played SOLB with some success, but I still think he'd do better as a WOLB.

I don't work in anybody's front office, but I'd trade Porter to Buffalo before cutting him.
