You think Oakland is not going to resign Seymour after they gave up a 1st round pick?

They could tag him, correct?

If you think Oakland will let Seymour walk away you're nuts.

He's either gonna be franchise tagged or transition tagged.

Oghobaase or Troup in the fourth round would be nice draft wise.

I hate Porter. I think he is a disgusting human being. Not in the same way as a Vick for example. But in his own, ignorant, pompous way.

I don't. And I played linebacker in highschool and a little bit in college. No, that is not what I would look for.

His athletic skill, yes. His attitude and overall personality? No.

Lewis, while I respect him as a player, I do not like him as a person. He killed someone, and got away with it. I would never want him on this team. Apparently the Baltimore locals are scared of him and his "crew".

Porter is one of those guys that you hate unless he is on your team.

Just because a guy played for a coach in college or the NFL doesn't make him a target.

Coordinators work with the guys their GM sign or draft - college coaches work with who they have been able to recruit.

As East and North Carolina have 5 DL guys capable of the 3-4 coming out, it would not surprise me if we picked up one if not two - Thomas, Joseph, Ross and the two Wilsons. We will target them between the 3rd and the 6th

I also think the one free agent guy we could move on is Shawne Merriman. San Diego drafted his replacement last year in Larry English and they will definitely want to resign McNeil and Jackson if not Malcolm Floyd and Sproles.
Merriman could be the odd one out and was previously scouted by Nix

The OC/LB coach sometimes build a relationship with the players

because it is often a shotgun marriage not necessarily made out of choice.

Umm...Dat Nguyen is a coach now...

Edit...Nevermind I see you tagged him as a possible LB coach. Why you did that in a thread about players I have no idea, but, great.

So Edwards coached Seymour and Stroud for one season when they were freshmen and barely saw the field - he must have had a real boner for guys he's not worked with for a dozen years.

EDIT: Didn't see that someone else thought the same thing!

That would be great but I doubt the Raiders let Seymour hit FA without some sort of Tag.
