Walterfootball.com is currently putting up lists of the current free agents available but doing so with the premise that there will be no CBA.

To say the class is so shallow it looks as deep as a puddle is an understatement - there is virtually nothing there.

And because there are so few quality players available, there will be one or two owners who will just make silly offers to bring in some players.

Realisitically we will only upgrade via the draft or if we can offload some of our players for additional picks

We'll get a couple of guys that nobody is really familiar with, but I really don't see any action in the RFA market for us.

The other possibility is that there could be more player 'trades' than seen in some considerable time, possibly even some 3 way ones.
While there are, atm, a couple of potential good FAs, mainly on the defensive side of things, pretty much all of the good ones will eventually either be franchise tagged, or transition tagged. It is important to note, that teams actually can use both tags this year, whereas in the past it was one or the other. That will shrink the field further.
Teams will also be making use of tenders widely, the size of which will no doubt be dependent on where a player was drafted. Decent players drafted low, will get higher tenders, whereas guys who were drafted high, will probably get the tender that equates to an equivalent draft pick.
Where FA might pick up again, eventually, is when teams start cutting guys who are due roster bonuses, and there may still be quite a lot of activity around when teams start cutting guys from TC.
Patience is definitely going to be required, as there aren't going to be too many 'big splash' signings made, as there aren't going to be players available who warrant a 'big splash' moniker.
In certain respects, this might actually play into the Bills hands a little, as one of Nix's strengths, should be finding the right guys to 'do a job' for us.
