All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

"You're not going to find a more classier, down-to-Earth person away from the field than Marv Levy. He's a guy who's pretty much made me what I am today as far as a professional player and a person."

Yeah really... I got pneumonia when I was 21. Coincidently it came shortly after walking back to my dorm 2 miles from a party I crashed at, at 5am in 40 degree weather with just a sweatshirt on, and still semi-drunk.
I'd say being in your early 20s has little to do with NOT getting pneumonia.
it's 2010- how does an athlete in his early 20's get pneumonia?
He probably didn't just get pneumonia. He probably had a virus that he just couldn't shake. Eventually it works its way to the lungs. That's what happened to my father when I was a little kid. He ended up in the hospital for 2 weeks with what essentially started off as a typical viral issue. As for the E.R. because of the flu - see me when I was 31 and in good shape. I spent a day and a half in the hospital after the flu. I couldn't keep anything down. I was so dehydrated that I couldn't focus. I NEVER go to the doctor, but I could barely even walk that day. I plopped down on the floor and had a difficult time pulling myself up. I never felt worse in my life. Eventually, my wife forced me into the car and to the E.R. where they just pumped fluids into me for about 30 hours. They said it was viral and I just need to ride it out. Sucked.

you don't think being young and strong with a healthy immune system has anything to do with not getting pneumonia?
