How many times have we seen these teenage phenoms come through the ranks, get all the attention in there HS years. get to college and basically have even more handed to them..

then by the time they get to the pros they're a mess....

I know its only a verbal agreement non-binding, but what's the over under on him getting arrested with some weed, and 8 ball or just getting into some sort of major trouble before he turns pro...

and then when he does get to the pros we never really hear his name in a positive light again

It's just a publicity stunt.

i don't think it is. the kid is light years ahead of anyone his age at QB... The verbal agreement was never binding.

but the kid is definitely getting major attention and he will continue to... Which IMO can lead ot some major troubles

I'm pretty sure it is just a publicity stunt. What the heck do "scholarship offers" mean right now? They don't actually send written offers until September of their junior year. Long time away, and from what I've heard the kid isn't that good. He just now has a good trainer who...guess what?...wants publicity.

Same thing happened when Kiffin was at Tennessee. Eric Berry's younger brother (who was 13 at the time) made a "verbal commitment" to play at Tennessee. How do you think that kid feels about it now?
