Replay gave the Jackets a powerplay last night

I went to the game and sat 12 rows from the ice. In the 2nd period, Craig was back on D and he high-sticked someone i forgot who, but he got away with it.

We get possession and take it down ice. Play would've continued but we were called on an offsides. During the stoppage, they came back and decided to make the high-stick call which led to a PP goal.

What if we hadn't gone offsides and scored? Would they have made that call then?

    Refs.

are you sure the penalty was called by replay? The anouncers said it was called by the linesman

Well if that's the case then he was very late with the whistle. We weren't offsides because of a long pass up we moved in through center into their zone, which means it should've been dead when we touched it.
