And you HAD to pick one of the two, who would it be and why?

I'll go first.

I think these are the most likely picks at 9 for the Bills. The need for LT and NT are the biggest for the team, and I think one of the two above will be a Bill.

My pick would be Bulaga for the simple fact that this year the DT group is deep. My only issue is what NT's would be available in the 2nd? Mount Cody will be gone.

Why can't it be trade down and take Dan Williams?

Why can't it be trade down and take Dan Williams?Because how often is a team able to trade out of the top ten? Ugh, I hate all these people who simply suggest trade downs as the solution to all our problems.

I'd take the LT either Bulaga, Campbell or Davis.

Williams would be a panicky reach at 9.

Cody is a fat pile of lard, who could only play 2 downs at a time. I'd think someone like Cam Thomas in the 2nd/3rd or Linval Jospeh in the 4th/5th are much better options than Cody who will be out the league by 2013

Had to pick between the two? Baluga. Shore up the offensive line. Protect the QB.

A quality LT is so much harder to find.

I'd just pick the guy opposite of what Wilson was telling me to pick.

Dan Williams, DT are harder to find than OLmen.

Bauluga because he is actually a top 10 pick. Its like asking Maybin or Orakpo

Dan Williams would be a huge reach at #9, if we took DW, we better trade down.

Maybin in the 3-4 may surprise many people this year.

LT all the way and yes I agree Maybin is going to show some skills as an OLB I believe

Most Mock Drafts I've seen dont have Williams or Bulaga anywhere near the top 10.

bulaga because our OL was the worst line in the history of the nfl last season

Dan Williams, at THIS time, is not worthy of the 9th overall. Thus I go with OT

I don't believe Bulaga is as far of a stretch at the 9th pick as Williams. And I would really like to see whoever is playing QB have some time to make our offense viable this season. Ill take OT with the 9th

if i were GM, i'd like to know who the first 8 picks were. there could be somebody better than the two options that are given here.

Dang it people, it's BULAGA, not Baluga. He may be big, but he's not a freaking whale.

This is easy. Bulaga. I think he's the better player and fills a bigger need. But this also assumes we don't pick up a decent LT in free agency.

I think the more interesting debate would be Bulaga or McClain?

Not really hard. Most Mocks have Bulaga around 15th-23rd pick.
McClain is usually in the top 10.

The Bills need is greater at LB.

First, they both will turn heads at the combine, and YES, that's an unsolicated editorial comment! Actually, I opted for Dan Williams because truly good NT's are JUST as hard to find as OLT's and Denver is lurking right behind the Bills at either #10 or #11 (coin flip w/Jax), so the question is which HUGE position of need do you take? I'd say that OT is a maybe, depending on what a REAL coaching staff determines about Demetrius Bell and Jamon Meredith!

williams no, Bulaga I have seen consistently in the top 15.

Since we are switching to a 3-4 i believe now more than ever our wholes on D need to b replaced with Vets that no how to run the system and a Casey hampton type player would imprive this D drastically rather than depend on a rookie, i think if we draft a LT we solidify our young Oline for yrs to come

Buddo

Use that first pick on a 'one pick fix', which should be the O-Line, rather than a DT, who will just be waiting for the rest of the makeover party to arrive.

Bulaga because if he struggles at LT we could shift him to RT or maybe even OG. Where if Williams struggles we could shift him to the bench. Not to mention he grades out as a better prospect at this point and as a proponent of big board analysis think we could find a quality DT later in the draft easier then a quality OT prospect.

DT are a dime a dozen in FA where as solid starting LT are valued and not released before 33 years old. Except LT Peters ... but he was a Bill.
