Robitaille in stable condition after surgery

Buffalo Sabres studio analyst Mike Robitaille underwent surgery today after suffering a spinal cord injury last week, Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital announced this afternoon.

Robitaille was injured last Wednesday when the car he was driving was rear-ended.

He is listed in serious but stable condition and is recovering in the hospital's intensive care unit, hospital officials said.
