I read he can play the 3-4 as a nose tackle. What I read on him sounds like a decent option late in draft. 4th or 5th rounder? Ing, DB, or anyone that knows anything on him, any opinions?

Cam Thomas DT North Carolina – Cam Thomas was a nightmare for opposing offensive linemen this week. The strength and power that he showed on the interior of the line was extremely impressive and he showed the type of brute force that scouts look for in the type of fire-hydrant defensive tackle that teams like to plug on the interior of their offensive line. Thomas was another player who had a mid-late round draft grade coming into the week but leaves with a third-to-fourth round grade.

NTs will be in pretty high demand this year. He could go as early as the 2nd, but probably between the 3rd and 4th.

He's the #2 NT prospect behind Dan Williams in my opinion. Cody has way too many red flags to be given that spot I think, I'd also put Torrell Troup ahead of Cody, though Cody will probably be taken earlier.

I have Thomas as my 'sleeper' pick at NT, but some have him projected to go as high as the second round. I like Troup, also, and had Buffalo taking him in the fourth in my mock.

LOL I was going to say I don't remember him wearing a single digit.

That NC defense is going to be nasty next year though with Austin returning.

I like Bulaga in Round 1 but I think the 2nd's way too early for Thomas. Round 3 or 4 are more likely.

Cam Thomas had a good Senior Bowl. That has raised his stock. The combine can lift it some more. I wouldn't be surprised to see him go in the second round.

I like him too... 3rd is probably the place to get him without reaching, but it depends on between then and now. I don't see many other NTs ahead of him at this point, so someone may reach in the 2nd.

Prior to the Senior Bowl he was thought to be a 5th-7th Round pick, yes his stock has risen since the Senior Bowl but not to the 2nd IMHO or more specifically in the early part of the 2nd where we're drafting.

No way, before the senior bowl he was 3-4th round prospect. He will most undoubtly be a 2nd now and well deserved.

You guys are going to hate on me for this, but Cam Thomas would be the perfect 34 LE for us. The guy is quick enough and a good enough anchor to get some pass rush and would be solid at the point of attack against the run.

Personally I would like the Bills to draft Buluga as the LT of the future and let Bell, Butler, Meredith battle it out for RT.

Then I would draft Thomas as the LE and Terrell Troupe in the 3rd as a NT prospect.

We are still not sure what Kyle Williams is going to do, if Gamble can make him be about 325 and even McCargo at 325 then we could have some decent NTs that are mobile.

I am not a big fan of Cody because unlike Wilfork he does not have the lateral quickness to tackle RBs that are near him. I think if Williams could get bigger he would have that lateral quickness and could be disruptive enough on passing downs. Also its not like Jason Ferguson or Jay Ratliff are huge either, Kyle is short at just about 6'1 and could have leverage battles in his advantage.
