A lot of players will get released and its only natural for Bills fans to link the name to Buffalo, but in Porter's case I think you may soon here some legit cases for him coming here; starting with Edwards being the D.C.

Dont get me wrong, I know absolutely nothing about any potential Porter to Buffalo ties; but on the surface you'd have to say it makes sense from a speculatory point of view.

Why would he come here? (Obviously it would be sweet if he did, though.)

Very good question.

I don't know.. I havent heard anything either. But from needing talent point of view, on the field he'd seem to fit.

I think he still has something left in the tank. I would love to see him here if only to play the Pats*

He'll end up in Denver

Dont know why, my first thought was a return to Pittsburgh.

I know he had good numbers last year, but he was also benched.. But I dont know why.. was it cause of field peformance, or attitude?

Porter isn't coming here, he said he wants to go west and the Cardinals need him....with the Steelers connections over there chances are that's where he ends up.

Pat last year your source was pretty spot on in terms of FA, with the whole regime change is your source/sources still able to give you information on who we will target?

i would take porter here too... he's used to the 3-4, and it would keep him away from the cheatriots

I'd love to see him get blown up by Jake Long twice a year.

His career is over anyway.

Why would he come here? (Obviously it would be sweet if he did, though.)

Because he has a MASSIVE chip on his shoulder after being benched and wants two chances a year to terrorize Henne! Plus his former LB's coach is now our Defensive C.

Bring him in!

Nothing yet other than hearing there would be at least an interest in Pennington.. way too early this staff is just getting together.

People can sign him before FA begins correct? Like Gibril Wilson last season.

I think he would welcome the chance to playing against the Dolphins twice a season...don't ya think? I think if him and Edwards got along good, then I could def. see it happen.

Sign him now.

He instantly upgrades our 3-4 even if its just as a situational pass rusher.

Still, I think he is a 3 down player that brings attitude, toughness and confidence to our defense.

Good player. Douche bag of a person.

I'd be pissed if he came here, but I guarantee he'd bust his ass against the Dolphins and Pats.

which he wont do

He has his entire career. He led the AFC with 17.5 sacks in 2008 & made the Pro Bowl. Even last year playing with a bad hamstring & missing a few games he led the Fins with 9 sacks.

I for one am sick & tired of all the pansies Jauron filled this team with. I want to see some hard nosed mean Football players on this team.

For every sack he gets he'll probably end up with two personal fouls. Why bother.

He wouldn't come off the field when they wanted to rotate their LBs.

He said the reason he was inactive for the 1 game was because he went out to eat at 9 PM on a Friday.

He had 9 sacks last year, and 17.5 in 08... 17.5!

I would take him in a heartbeat.

Even if we still draft a guy who starts in front of him, this team should have learned that your depth also matters. We have needed solid depth for years.
