Ferguson played NT but was not ideal in that role. He was just put there because options were few for Miami. I guarantee you they don't resign him .
Bannan played DE not NT.
Jeff Wright played in an era where interior linemen were not as big as they are today. It's a completely different game now.

Jay Ratliff is 306 lbs.
I don't think Williams will be anything more than a placeholder at NT.
He's a very good 4-3 DT, and should have good value, but probably won't fit.

Jay Ratliff is an exception and the only one in the league. He is also 6'4 and very strong.
KW is not a powerful player.

Yet when he got injured their defense completely fell apart and their run D was substantial worse.

Yeah, he was the best they had at NT which is why he was the starter. That doesn't mean he is ideal for the job.
He did a solid job there but IMO they can do better at NT.

Where did I say Williams would be a powerful Nt?
I didn't. I love him as a player, but honestly see him being traded for draft picks.

Ferguson was the NT the 1st year they went to 3-4
Bannan does play NT. Watch baltimore, he lines up at NT sometimes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Obnkm59TN3g&feature=related

Jeff Wright era???
K yer talking about one play? It's a known fact that Kelly Gregg is the NT with Ngata and Pryce as the DEs.
Yeah I'm sure Bannan has played some NT but not full time.
I'm sure KW can play some snaps at NT but I doubt he could do it full time either. He is not a strong player that can hold his ground, he is a guy that likes to penetrate.
Now if KW adds 10-15 pounds and changes his game around he might be able to pull it off.

Kelly gregg is only 315 pounds and is the NT its all about leverage can Kyle hold up maybe if he gets stronger and gains 10 pounds.

He's already put on like 11 lbs since his rookie season, he's pretty maxed out for his frame.
