  • OTs out of football who might be worth a look?

I was wondering if there were any reasonably experienced and cheap RTs who were not in football last season, who might be worth a look, brought in comparatively cheaply and maybe add some experience, guys with starting experience.

I did think of Rob Pettiti, who started as a R6 rookie for the Cowboys, and although he's an RFA with the Panthers, he might be worth considering if he becomes available.

Another might be Maurice Williams, formerly of the Jags, who is only 31, but has several years of starting experience at RT, and might be worth a years deal whilst we bring along some youngsters.

    Thoughts?

Pettiti had a tryout with the Bills, under their old management, after the UFL season ended (he played for the Florida Tuskers) and left without the Bills signing him before he went to Carolina.
Maybe this staff would have signed him, but it's probably too late to go after him now that he's restricted.
