Do you think either could play NT?

They're both too small, right?

Suh could potentially. Suh would be an incredible 3-4 DE though.

Who would be our other DE? Stroud? Then see if Kyle can bulk-up and play NT?

The problem is, we'd have to give up our 2nd, and probably more, to trade up to #2, so we wouldn't be able to draft a LT who could start this year.

We'd have to give up a lot of picks and a gigantic contract to whoever we picked at #2. That's the primary reason no one wants to pick that high.

i dont want to see the bills trade up for anyone this roster is not talented enough to do that.

we need real bodies in here to be truly competitive 2-3 years from now.

id like to see us trade down if the guy we want isnt there and grab an extra 2nd

No thanks I'd prefer trading down ourselves.

Having one of them would be great but I think we need as many picks as we can get.

per rotoworld.com:

In addition to the Lions, the other three teams in the draft's top-four are reportedly angling to trade down this year.

NFL Network's Mike Mayock calls this year's draft the deepest in eight years, and teams have grown wary of handing top-five money to unproven players. Ndamukong Suh and Gerald McCoy may be the only players worth targeting that high, but either player would require a trade into the top spot.

I personally don't know if it would be worth what we'd have to trade.

The 9th pick + Terrence McGee + a 3rd round pick.

Trade Aaron Schobel to the Titans for their 3rd round pick.

Take Suh with the 1st overall pick and sign Ryan Pickett to man the NT position for us.

1) Ndamukong Suh, DE, Nebraska
2) Charles Brown, LT, USC
3) Colt McCoy, QB, Texas
4) Eric Decker, WR, Minnesota
5) George Selvie, OLB, USF

I think we need to aquire picks, not trade them away.

Everyone thought Mike Williams was going to ba a staple on the O-line too.

I'd still rather trade down and grab a true NT in Dan Williams of Tenn. Draft LT Rodger Saffold in R2 and maybe 3-4 DE Alex Carrington with 2B.

That's how winning organizations do it...in the lines.

I agree with the setiment of not moving up despite being able to get a Suh. We need all the picks we can get right now.

Just throwing this out there to see the reaction.

If Nix can hit on another Pro Bowl QB (Manning, Brees, Rivers),and he is pretty sure of it....... Then you make the move.
