Combine Open Thread Thursday

Since I have a bad habit of taking up too many threads, I'll limit this to one. I got a guy at the combine, and I'm also tracking several reporters and what they're saying.

So how about using this as single thread to report any combine news from today.

I'll start with this today. So far, by FAR the most person who's most impressive with his measurables has been the former local product, TE Dan Growkowski.

He measured at 6'2", 264 pounds and with 34.25 with the arms. Holy CRAP

6'2 are you sure about that? That is 4 inches shorter than expected.

And at 264 LBs and with 34" arms that pretty much makes him an ape.

Yeah I think that indicates 6'6. Not 6'2.

Regardless, that's freegin incredible size and reach for a tight end.. Watch him fly up the board.

(Dont matter for the Bills, no way they take a TE in first two or three rounds)

His medicals might push him down the board, which is why the combine is big for him. He is coming off surgery for a herniated disc, and back injuries can be scary.

Supposedly, he is going to only do the bench press in Indy, waiting for his Pro Day to do the other drills and catch passes because he is still recovering.

I just saw a report that there are 628 media members at the combine.. crazy
