    You will hear a lot of justifiable *****ing from folks who want the most players we can get. And I could agree. But I think a franchise QB is paramount to this team. And I think Bradford could be just that.

      I agree to a certain extent, while I also think some could argue a LT could also be a centerpiece...but this team has tried fixing the line many times, and even when we got better...QB play still doomed us.

        What is better....getting players who you believe in and will be a centerpiece to your success, or just keeping draft picks so you can say you got 9 players in the draft, many of which might not even play or stay?

        Value vs quantity.

          If we gave up what the Jets gave up last year i would be pretty damn happy. I REALLY don't see it happening though. We need the picks this year.

            Don't like it. I'm not fond of guys from major programs whose stock rises in between the end of the season and the draft.

              So, I wouldn't say that LT isn't a need. Only that our needs may not be solved in one off season or draft. At that point, we could argue that getting the best guy possible at a need position in this draft... and in next years draft may be a plan.

              Put it this way, if you feel its a multi-year process, then getting the best of each of two positions over two years may make your team better than the 2nd or 3rd best of each position in one year.

                      I dont think Bradford is really in that category though..he has been slotted to be one of the top 2 QBs taken for a good chunk of the past 2 years..
