Bills signed DT Marlon Favorite. The 6-1, 317-pound Favorite appeared in 40 games, making 17 starts at LSU.

That's 3 guys now that may be in the mix at NT. More options is the key to filling the holes we have.

An ex-Panther also. Same as Harvey.

Lol we've signed every DT from Carolina's practice squad at this point.

Hey it beats bringing back Marcus Harrison or any other former player we have had on our practice squad at least 3-4 times...lol

Does it look like the Bills might not being going NT in the draft early?

My guess is they hope one of these scrubs can make the team as a back-up and maybe another warrants the practice squad.

height wise, he is similar to Kyle Williams, so is he a bad fit too? Why sign him?

In an interview with James Varney of The Times-Picayune in New Orleans, Favorite was overwhelmed by coming back to Louisiana. "I'm overwhelmed," he said in the locker room. "I got the call yesterday and, well, God is good. I'm just looking forward now to contributing the best way I can. Any way I can contribute to the team I want to do it. I'm honored to be here - it's my hometown, don't have to take no flak, just hop in my car and drive across the river and I'm here," he said.

Well, that was short-lived.

Well if the 317 weight listing is correct, he's already got ~10-15 pounds on Williams. He also might be better at taking up gaps than Williams is, though I personally don't know anything about Favorite.

We'll know by the end of this weekend when we see who Ryan Pickett signs with.

Pickett was franchised by Green Bay.

if this doesnt show buffalo wants dan williams i dont know what does. obviously buffalo doesnt feel comfortable with williams as nt. i think k williams can be a 3rd down nt but not a starter who can 2 gap...

how does this show that they want Dan Williams? By bringing in another DT? That doesn't make sense. If they were bringing in Williams then why would they bother bringing in this guy?

I did hear that he supposedly has long arms for a guy with the general dimensions of a bowling ball. That may be a physical advantage over the short armed Kyle Williams. I don't think any of the guys the Bills are stockpiling on the defensive line have the look of a guy you can depend on to start. It looks to me like the Bills are hoping that among the three potential nose tackle types they now have they might find one or two depth players, and if one of them really lights it up at training camp that'll be a bonus.
