for better or worse maybin must see the field full time this year i think it will be for the better.

there's enough talent out there that upgrades this entire team.(except P) it's whether Wilson will fork out the dollars to do it. we shall see.

These other guys that are restricted on some other teams, we don’t know what’s going to happen with them yet, but we will try to plug in some holes before the draft.”

if they get 2-4 solid starters from FA this year and another 2-4 from draft we will be on our way.

however i expect no stars from FA just solid starters the key spots on the field i feel will be addressed in the draft whether its this year or future

That makes no sense at all. Porter himself said he will consider any 3-4 team. Chicago is a cover 2 team which is the opposite.

When Miami was running a 4-3 in Porter's first year he struggled and he hated it. No way he is going to Chicago.

Well we should really find out how highly some of the current players are regarded by the current staff, based on the quality and quantity of FA's we bring in.

Building through the draft is the way to go obviously. But if this team ever thought for one minute they could get by next season by changing schemes and not bringing in a good amount of free agents they were kidding themselves.

We are going to need a quite a few stop gaps, depth and starters through free agency.

I don't the league will let us have 12 men on the field, regardless of how long it's been since we've made the playoffs.

Porter is a ROLB in a 3-4 and I think Maybin would be that also.

The LOLB is usually a bigger stronger player.

The only position on the field where a player should be taken #11 overall in the draft to sit and watch in his second year is QB. Maybin is getting too much cash and needs to have himself ready by the time training camp rolls around to become an impact player the Bills expect him to be.
The grace period is over for Maybin. Time for results.
