Or gives us picks to move for a PP pointman?

So we trade MacArthur for Torres and a 2nd rounder for a 3rd and 4th

Seems fruitless to me. Mac and Torres are similar point-per-game. Torres is just slightly bigger.

Come on man. MacArthur has the intensity of a scarecrow. In terms of comparing losing Clarke for Torres it is a win for the Sabres easily.

I am not saying Torres is going to turn this lifeless team around but MacArthur was one of the worst offenders in that dept. No heart, hadn't scored in how long. He was a waste.

Torres is a slight upgrade. The guy is still a negative player with similar points-per-game. He will also walk away with no return when/if the Sabres are eliminated.

I'm curious what it would have taken for us to get Wolski instead. He's a better scorer, bigger body, and a plus player. Wolski would've been a rental, too, so it probably would've cost too much.

Obviously players that Darcy is still in love with and/or have "potential". Stafford, Roy, Hecht, etc.

I like the accountability, but I wish they would have shipped off a bigger name like Pominville, Hecht or Stafford.

Torres is playing for a contract. He's a huge upgrade over that stiff MacArthur.

Mac just scored his first goal for Atlanta at 9:16 in the first period... assisted by Max to put Atlanta up 3-0.

Yep, Had two goals and an assist. Didn't do a thing for the rest of the time he was with the Sabres.
