The Washington Redskins confirmed yesterday that they will hold training camp at Redskins Park this summer. The team received approval from Loudoun County on Thursday.
The club conducted training camp the past two summers at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa. But Coach Steve Spurrier said when he arrived at camp last year that he didn't see the need to go to a remote location to train, and it had been clear recently that a move back to Redskins Park would happen.
"We just believe it'll be a little bit more productive to have our own facilities," Spurrier said yesterday. "We have four fields here. We just feel like that's the way to go."...
