Troy Smith only tendered original pick

That means if the Bills wanted him it would only cost a 5th rounder.

Of course, I HAVE NO IDEA if the staff likes him or not, but if they do.. That's not a big price to pay at all.

It should speak volumes that his current staff thinks he's only worth a 5th round pick.

All the Brohm naysayers better be Troy Smith naysayers as well.

Incorrect. Smith was primed to be the starter before Flacco, and was retained as Baltimore's backup quarterback because he's a nice option to have on the bench.

Brohm was primed to be the backup before being released because he's not any good.

5th rounder is acceptable, but I'd rather not give away any draft picks at all this year.

5th rounder for Troy Smith is not bad at all. I think the Bills will consider it at least.

Does it have to be a 5th? Why not just Whitner for Smith? LOL

I thought Smith looked very good in the preseason last year... for whatever that is worth.
