Period.
Why not tender him and see if we can't get anything/something in return, if we don't want him.
I think he played well enough, and will get signed.
This move disappoints me.

Yeah, it makes no sense to let him walk just like that."Expect rejection, but expect more to overcome it."

Re: 4 of 8 Bills RFAs Tendered
if the bills were a mildly competent organization and i was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, i would say, "incognito must be such a jerk and so hard to work with as demonstrated from his past behaviour"
However, knowing that this team loves to f things up more than anyone can possibly imagine, i know this is going to come back to haunt us. forget depth. we have no OL, period. we have 2 pathetic LT, 2 decent guards and a barely servicable center who would be much better if he was a backup. Aside from that we have nothing. And this team is talking about wanting a QB.
Anything short of fully retooling with servicable OT in the first round of the draft and it's another bust of 1BD. And it seems fitting since this is the 10 year anniversary of the erik flowers debacle. the team hasn't been the same since.

Re: 4 of 8 Bills RFAs Tendered
per Chris Brown:
In light of the fact that Eric Wood still has some time to go on his current rehabilitation from a broken leg, even I thought the club would perhaps tender Incognito, who could represent insurance in the event that Wood’s rehab took a bit longer than expected. But once head coach Chan Gailey indicated at the combine that both Demetrius Bell and Eric Wood were considered “ahead of schedule,” to me it signaled that Incognito was probably going to become a free agent.
And that’s what happens when there’s a new regime in place. All bets are off with people currently on the roster. The new front office wants to shape the roster the way they like it, and that has already begun with the players they have chosen to tender and not to tender.Last edited by shelby; 03-04-2010, 03:25 PM.
