Winners = Pittsburgh, Jersey, Washington and Ottawa.
Losers include Philly.

Sabres were 'on the fence'...

They don't have a power-play quarterback and didn't get one. But they also needed some sandpaper up front and managed to secure Raffi Torres for a secondround pick. Torres hurts people when he hits, and he has soft hands for a banger.

Better than the loser category, I guess. Probably because they didn't do enough on the trade front. Torres is a fine peice to the puzzle though!

look at that- the 4 teams we need to beat all got better and we're "on the fence." Why do people continuously defend this POS FO?

Op, don't get bent out of shape because the Vancouver Sun said we're on the fence. For the record, others thought better.

Buffalo Sabres: If it's seen as a MacArthur-for-Raffi Torres swap, then it's a big upgrade and a big win for the Sabres. Torres helps the power play and becomes one of the leading scorers on the Buffalo roster. (http://www.lockportjournal.com/local/gnnlocalnews_story_062143735.html) He's singing for his supper as a pending UFA, and doing it well. MacArthur was given every chance to make an impact, and did for a month. Then he was about as satisfying as a Clark bar. (We're Snickers men here.) GRADE: A-
