6'3, 290...has the size, is a power based DE. Had a bad 2009, but overall has had a fairly solid career.

im not sure he would fit... hes more of an outside pass rusher not a 5 tech

Agreed it would be a questionable move, but at the right price?

How does this guy feel about the Super Bowl win now?

I mean, a month ago this guy was on the winning team of the f'n Super Bowl.

Now, they've kicked him to the curb.

He doesn't even have his ring yet. That's gotta blow.

Yeah I think we discussed this in another thread a while ago. Would be a decent addition. Strong player with a bit of pass rush ability.

That's exactly it. To me, why the hell not. Schobel is a good DE, but who else do we have, and Schobel isn't really the right fit for our new scheme.

There's pieces out there that could help. But, I think we will do little to nothing in free agency... its annoying.
