"I do know the Buffalo Bills have sniffed around about Tyler Thigpen so that might be an option for alleviating the crowded quarterback room. "

God damnit can someone fix the title to "looking in" or "looked into".

You should be able to edit it yourself, under "Edit" option and then Advanced, I think.

He is under contract, but maybe they figure Miami will cut him if they re-sign Pennington.

I'm all up for Thigpen or Whitehurst

oh boy.

Chan Gailely (the BZ poster) is going to hang himself if we sign him, right along with Hurricane and OP

Whitehurst.

Whitehurst.
I'm also up for Thigpen because of the success he had under Gailey before. The guy is not a bad QB. I say get one of them and draft a guy in the first 2 rounds.

The biggest knock on Thigpen is he is small and is only a fit in a spread offense. Kind of limits what you can do.

6'1 225 is not small for a QB. Would you like him to be 6'3 or 6'4 yes, but I wouldn't consider his size small. But I would worry about a spread offense when we are trying to win home games late in the season

If the Bills are going to run the ball a lot, which is what they say they want to do, then I don't think he is a good fit. He has never been an effective player other than in spread sets, in both college and the NFL.

I don't think he is a good fit for the Bills.

I am so sick of project QBs.

Trade for McNabb, draft a blue chipper like Clausen, or just go back to Edwards for another year and suck for a better 2011 pick.

Clausen at 9 please.

Hell no to McNabb.

Pennington will not sign with Miami to be a #3.

1. Henne
2. Pennington
3. White (wildcat purposes)

Thigpen is the odd man out and will probably be released if not traded.

I would not consider Clausen blue-chip at all.

why??? so we can see ANOTHER 1st round pick spend more time on the sidelines??? only Clausen would be carrying a clipboard. i'd rather go after a RFA who fills a need IMMEDIATELY than somebody doing a Maybin impression.

Dude, quit putting words in my mouth. Do you even read my opinions? I don't want Bradford or Claussen or Tebow. I don't think Thigpen would be like the earth shattering move to make us awesome out of nowhere but I don't think I'd be against it.

For a third round pick, you can have Thigpen.

Please no. We have enough mediocre to bad quarterbacks that need talent around them to have any success.
